Climavent hold data as a ‘Data Controller’ whereby Climavent are responsible for deciding how we hold and use the personal information we have about the User. Data held is collected from what the User has provided along with publicly held data. Information may be collected from third parties, e.g. credit reference companies, if deemed necessary.

Legal proceedings for breach of contract or negligence can be up to 6 years after the events, we therefore have a legitimate business interest in retaining the data beyond this period should any subsequent legal proceedings occur.
