Climavent Completes New Thermal Spray Booth Installation for Bodycote.

Climavent has successfully completed the installation of new thermal spray booths for Bodycote.

The booths feature an acoustic construction that significantly reduces noise generated by the HVOF (High Velocity Oxy-Fuel) process. Large access doors allow components to be wheeled in on a trolley, which integrates seamlessly with a bespoke plenum system to maximise dust and fume extraction during operation.

Each booth is fitted with a dedicated safety interlock panel that monitors door interlocks, emergency stop status, booth temperature, and extraction flow rates. Operators can manage the entire process from a centralised built-in HMI. In the event of an emergency, the system initiates a full automatic shutdown to ensure maximum safety.

This installation is one of several successful projects Climavent has delivered for Bodycote at sites across the UK.
